Xi'an MH Electronics And Technology Co., Ltd. — known worldwide under the registered brand MHNV® — is one of China's leading manufacturers of Gen 2+ / Gen 3 night vision devices, uncooled and cooled thermal imaging systems, image intensifier tubes (IIT), laser rangefinders, and AI-powered fusion vision modules. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in the High-Tech Zone of Xi'an, Shaanxi — one of China's core aerospace and optoelectronics R&D hubs — MHNV® has served customers in more than 60 countries across hunting, border security, law enforcement, industrial inspection, and outdoor observation sectors.
We are not a trading company. MHNV® owns the full engineering chain in-house — from optical design and image-intensifier tube integration to FPGA firmware, image-fusion algorithms, and ruggedized housing — which lets us deliver complete OEM & ODM customization for global brands with a single point of accountability from concept to shipment.
The global night vision and thermal imaging market is experiencing rapid expansion. Industry analysts project the combined military and commercial market to exceed USD 20 billion by 2028, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8–12%. Demand drivers span border security upgrades, counter-UAS systems, hunting and outdoor recreation, law-enforcement patrol, and ADAS thermal cameras for smart vehicles and autonomous platforms.
The sector is served by a small number of established Western defense suppliers alongside a growing tier of vertically integrated Asian manufacturers. MHNV® differentiates by being one of the very few Chinese manufacturers able to deliver a full portfolio — from raw IIT components through complete night vision devices, thermal systems, and AI fusion platforms — supported by a complete in-house engineering team and Class-10,000 cleanroom production facilities. This enables truly one-stop OEM and ODM customization that trading-company or assembly-only suppliers cannot match.
The single biggest reason global brands choose MHNV® for OEM and ODM night vision is our complete, cross-disciplinary engineering team under one roof. Because we do not outsource these disciplines, your customization request is routed inside one team, not across multiple factories — faster iteration, lower engineering-change cost, and a single point of accountability.

MHNV® holds ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification. Products are designed to CE, RoHS, and FCC standards for EU and US markets. Image intensifier tubes are tested to MIL-STD-810 for shock, vibration, humidity, and altitude. Every IIT ships with an individual serialized QC data sheet covering SNR, FOM, resolution, halo, EBI, and luminous gain — providing full traceability for every unit delivered.
Our factory operates a modern, vertically integrated production base with Class-10,000 cleanrooms for IIT calibration, SMT lines for control electronics, precision optical assembly benches, and a full metrology lab for SNR / FOM / resolution / halo / EBI testing on every unit shipped.
MHNV® is one of the very few manufacturers able to deliver a full portfolio across the entire optoelectronic stack — from single components to complete systems. That matters to buyers who want to consolidate purchase orders and reduce vendor management.
